Brandtnet RTK Correction Network

The Brandtnet RTK Correction Network is a series of reference base stations across Western Canada that provides data for Real-time Centimeter accuracies. Access to the network and delivery of data is via the internet to the rover GPS receiver through a digital modem or cell phone. The GPS receiver can access Brandt Positioning Technology’s multi frequency, multi constellation correction service that is designed to work with the latest generation of GNSS receivers as well as older GPS only equipment.

The establishment of the Brandtnet Network has many benefits, most importantly: ease of operation, reduced equipment costs and reduced operating costs. WestCan Network users have no need to set up a costly base station: requiring only a Brandtnet Network Subscription, rover data collector and Web-enabled cell phone, users simply activate their receiver, connect to the Brandtnet Network and start recieving GPS corrections immediately.

 We currently have 28 GNSS Base Stations in the following locations:

Maple Ridge, Kelowna, Vancouver, Surrey (2), Victoria, Fort McMurray (2), Grande Prairie (2), Edmonton (3), Clive, Red Deer (2), Airdrie, Calgary (2), Medicine Hat, Saskatoon (2), Moose Jaw, Dauphin, Winnipeg (2), Steinbach

 Future installations planned within the next three months for the following locations:

Fort Nelson, Campbell River, Fort St. John, Smithers, Prince George, Williams Lake, Kamloops, Vernon, Cranbrook, Nanaimo, Castlegar, Regina
